Wire Base Floor Lamp | Natural Woven Shade, Black Metal Frame | Flam et Luce

Part lighting, part sculpture, this wire base floor lamp is designed to be a focal point in the room. Made by Flam et Luce and designed by Florence Bourel.  Its most distinctive feature is the base: slender black metal rods loop and cross beneath the shade in a free-form, almost hand-drawn silhouette, giving the lamp a sense of movement and artistry that a conventional stand simply doesn’t offer.

Above it sits a large drum-shaped shade in a natural woven fabric, its subtle textured weave adding warmth and organic character that softens the graphic base below. When lit, the shade diffuses light gently through the weave, creating a warm, ambient glow well suited to evening use in a living room, bedroom, or reading corner.

Tall enough to stand alone as a floor lamp without a side table, it works particularly well next to an armchair or sofa where its sculptural legs can be fully appreciated, or in an empty corner that needs a bit more visual interest.
