Wire Base Floor Lamp | Natural Woven Shade – LDRi

Part lighting, part sculpture, this wire base floor lamp is a natural focal point in any room. Flam et Luce produced it to a design by Florence Bourel. Its most distinctive feature is the base. Slender black metal rods loop and cross beneath the shade in a free-form, almost hand-drawn silhouette, so the lamp brings movement and artistry that a conventional stand simply cannot offer.

Above the base sits a large drum-shaped shade in natural woven fabric. Its textured weave adds warmth and organic character, which softens the graphic base below. When lit, the shade diffuses light gently through the weave. As a result, it creates a warm, ambient glow that suits evenings in a living room, bedroom or reading corner.

The lamp is tall enough to stand alone without a side table. It works particularly well next to an armchair or sofa, where you can fully appreciate its sculptural legs. Alternatively, place it in an empty corner that needs a bit more visual interest.
